A welded steel frame is as rugged as it is stylish. The Velocity 1.0 is e-Motos entry-level hybrid bicycle. Combining the on-road performance of a traditional road bike, with the ease of a comfort cruiser, the Velocity 1.0 is powered by the e-Moto 250-watt hub motor and standard 26-volt 9Ah Panasonic battery pack. Like all e-Moto power assist bikes, the Velocity 1.0 uses VPAC Torque Sensor technology, a lightweight aluminum frame, and 26-inch wheels.
A built-in sensor feels how hard you are pedaling and instantly provides electric power to match your efforts. Even a casual pedaler can maintain a top assisted speed of 16-miles-per-hour with a minimum of effort. When you stop pedaling, the power is automatically interrupted, so you are always in total control. The easily removable battery can also be charged while still mounted to the bike, via any traditional electrical outlet.
The bike features Kenda K-Series puncture-resistant tires, 20-inch Kenda self-sealing tubes, and Tektro disc brakes.
