The new GT Hydroformed 6061 Aluminum GTR Compact Design Frame integrates smooth welded hydroformed tubing and forged dropouts for lightweight, structurally stiff construction. The geometry gives you options pull away from the peloton or commit to your commute, this bike can do it all. Add to that GT's own branded and backed Carbon Fork with tapered 1 1/8 Threadless Aluminum Steerer for a solid match-up that can take all the impact of your pedaling and precision turns as well as anything the road decides to kick up. This road rocker comes stacked with Shimano Tiagra Components, including the STI 10-speed shifters, Integrated brake levers, Tiagra front and rear derailleurs. Just to give you a more delicious taste of how solid GT's own parts are they've added a GT 6061 Alloy handlebar, 3-D forged stem, and GT Road sadde with a dual density base. What isn't Shimano or GT's own homegrown can still take some serious rides: Forged Dual Pivot front/rear brakes and FSA Vero Compact crankset. We weren't lyin', this is the real deal.
